In 2002, my family moved from Puerto Rico to the foothills of East Tennessee. Much later, at nearby Carson-Newman University, I studied Poetry and Philosophy. I then completed my PhD in Philosophy at Florida State University. Now I am an assistant professor at California State University, San Bernardino.
I teach courses on Value Theory, Action, and History of Philosophy. My research focuses on various topics and thinkers in these areas, particularly Aristotle and G.E.M. Anscombe.
When I’m not doing philosophy, I’m usually reading, cooking, or playing pickup soccer. My wife (Hannah), our daughter (Shiloh), and I live in Redlands.
